Community Christian School's history and 英语 program focuses on an intensive study of the great writings, 人, 事件, 作品, and ideas that have formed and reformed civilization as we know it. Normative 作品 of our culture are studied within their historical settings. This helps the students understand how the 作品 and the 人 who wrote them were influenced by their times. It also reveals the universal nature of the great 作品, which are classics precisely because they somehow speak to all men at all times. The courses are organized chronologically, moving from ancient civilizations to modern times. Emphasis is placed upon reading, writing, and speaking/listening skills. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
